The Susumaniello Rosé ‘Santa Gemma’ from Produttori di Manduria is a fresh and approachable Apulian rosé. The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September and undergo a brief skin contact maceration in the press. The subsequent low-temperature fermentation results in a fragrant and clean style. The nose evokes wild strawberries, raspberries and pomegranate with floral notes of rose and geranium. On the palate, it displays freshness and savouriness with good fluidity and persistence. Excellent paired with squid stuffed with citrus fruits
