The Riesling Mosel Spatlese “Ürziger Würzgarten” by C.H.Berres is produced in late harvest, with grapes from a single vineyard whose name means ‘the garden of spices’, truly evocative. The moderate residual sugar gives softness and pleasantness, in balance with the intense freshness. Notes of exotic fruit like lychee and passion fruit entice the sip, with great persistence. On the palate, despite the low alcohol content, it shows surprising power and intensity. To pairwith intense fish dishes, or with aged cheeses
