The “Wehlener Sonnenuhr” Riesling Mosel Auslese comes from grapes grown in the cru that gives its name to the label, a stretch of rocky and steep land from which some of the most sophisticated whites of the entire Moselle terroir come to life. The manual harvest is followed by a careful selection phase of the bunches, from which only the best berries are separated. The must obtained from pressing is fermented in steel, using natural yeasts. The final aging takes place in steel containers, and at the end of the period deemed right to bring the Riesling to maturity, it is bottled and put on the market.
This Riesling Mosel Auslese “Wehlener Sonnenuhr” J.J. Prum presents itself to the eye with a brilliant golden yellow color, endowed with a beautiful luminous shade. Refined is the olfactory profile, which traces a trail of mineral notes alternating with touches of exotic fruit and more citrusy hints. On the palate, it is of excellent body, concentrated, with an almost tactile sip, highlighting a taste sweet and fruity.
